Old Frantz Cemetery Repaired Thanks To Your Donations!
Old Frantz Cemetery Update
We are pleased to report that our stone mason, Bob Batdorf, has completed the extensive repairs to the Frantz cemetery along the Wintersville Road near Bethel, PA. His final tasks to mount the gate and to repair one of the gravestones were completed in April, 2024. Richard Frantz, who has worked with Mr. Batdorf on the arrangements, will arrange to complete the final payment in June. Thanks to donated time by Rodney Keeney, the final expense was reduced by about $500. Your contributions as a Frantz Clan have more than covered the cost of the repairs, as well as provided for the placement of two Jersey barrier sections to discourage future vehicular damage to the cemetery.

Work on the restoration has begun. The mason is taking the stones apart, cleaning them and preparing the foundation to re-lay the stones.
